    Magazines

    • When will I receive my first issue?

Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email, usually within a few minutes. You will then receive a letter from the publisher advising the same and telling you exactly when you will receive your first issue. This letter should arrive within four weeks of placing your order. Normally your first issue will be sent to you between 4 - 8 weeks after your order was placed.

    • How do I renew my subscription?
Simply browse our site www.letssubscribe.com and check out the latest offers, or telephone our sales enquiry number 020 7903 3999 for any additional subscriptions.
    • How can I be kept up to date with new offers on that magazine and other associated titles?
When you register with the site, select the options to be contacted by letssubscribe.com, and our suppliers.
    • How frequently will I receive updates of new offers and products by email?
At letssubscribe.com we don't send out a load of useless newsletters. But every time we think an offer will be of interest to you we will let you know.
    • How do I cancel my subscription?
You need to cancel your subscription directly with the publisher. You will find their contact details inside your magazine, and also on the covering letters you will receive each month with the magazine.
    • Can I send a magazine subscription as a gift?
Yes, you can send a personal message to the recipient of the magazine which is sent by us in an attractive greetings card. This is part of the online checkout procedure or you can call us and we will take all the details. Alternatively, we can send you a blank gift card for you to complete and give to your recipient.

    Wine

    • How long will my case of wine take to arrive?
Allow 5 days for the first delivery to arrive from placing your order
    • What if I am on holiday and I want to delay receiving my order?
If you are going away and want to temporarily suspend your order then call our Customer Care Team on 0845 358 3646
    • How can you guarantee the consistency and quality of the wines?
Many of our wines are exclusively imported direct from the individual country grower and all are closely monitored to guarantee you the highest quality for all your wine drinking needs. We source our wines through regular visits to growers throughout the world, and many new growers are recommended to us by those we currently do business with. All wine is stored at the optimum temperature in our controlled warehouse
    • What if I, or the recipient. Is not at home to receive the delivery?
If there is no one present to take in the delivery the flowers will be left either on the door step or with a neighbour. Please specify if you have a preference when ordering
    • Can I substitute one bottle for another in a case?
We strive to offer our customers a unique range of exclusive and high quality products. However, we cannot guarantee to suit all tastes and for us to offer these wines at highly competitive prices it is not our policy to tailor subscriptions to individual needs. If you do feel strongly about wanting to change a particular wine then please call us on 0845 358 3646 and we will do what we can to help

    Organics

    • What happens if I'm not at home to sign for my box?
We have a customised labelling system which we organise in consultation with our customers, telling the driver where to leave the box safely if you are not present to sign for it: for instance "in the garage", or "by the back door". We can also leave the box with specified neighbours or at a trusted corner shop. This is an important part of our service, and enables our drivers to release your food without a signature. Please make sure you give us any specific delivery details when you place your order
    • Can I have my box delivered to a holiday address within the UK?
No trouble, just let us know by Friday lunchtime in the week before delivery - and we can deliver to anywhere in mainland UK
    • What should I do when I receive my fresh organic produce?
For vegetables, you should put anything tender and green straight into the fridge. Potatoes and other roots should be stored in a cool dark place. All fruit keeps best when stored in a cool place
    • How soon after I order will my boxes start to arrive?
For all our Fruit and Vegetable Boxes we take orders up to Sunday evening the week before delivery. So order by Sunday midnight and you will receive your first delivery on the following Friday
    • How fresh is the produce?
By purchasing a subscription to one of our organic boxes, you directly access produce grown by a co-operative of carefully selected organic farmers and growers, large and small, based around the UK. We don't have a shop, so the produce doesn't hang around or mix with non-organic produce on the shelves. Almost eighty per cent of what we sell goes straight from the field into a stringent Soil Association certified packing facility, then direct to your door. This speed and care when harvesting ensures that essential minerals and vitamins are preserved and the food is wonderfully fresh

    Cheese

    • What's the best way to look after my cheese?
Cheese keeps best as a whole cheese. i.e. before it is sliced. So unless you are buying a whole cheese it is always best to eat the cheese as soon as you can after it arrives. However, this may not always be practical and you may need to store it, if only for a short while. Larger pieces of cheese keep better than small pieces. There are few hard and fast rules, merely lots of hints and, to make life more complicated, conditions will change with the seasons as will the cheeses!
    • Where should I store my cheese?
If you are lucky enough to have a cool, humid cellar look no further. If not, try any unheated part of the house; a garage, shed, window cill, or of course, the refrigerator. If you do use a refrigerator, store the cheese in the salad draw at the bottom which is usually a slightly higher temperature and is a confined space thus keeping up the humidity. Don't keep the salad in the same drawer though as salad leaves can pose a hygiene threat to the cheese
    • How fresh are the cheeses?
Our cheeses leave us carefully wrapped and in perfect condition, ready for you to enjoy at their best
    • What happens if I`m not at home to sign for my cheese?
We have a customised labelling system which we organise in consultation with our customers, telling the driver where to leave the box safely if you are not present to sign for it: for instance "in the garage", or "by the back door". We can also leave the box with specified neighbours or at a trusted corner shop. This is an important part of our service, and enables our drivers to release your food without a signature. Coffee

    • How much coffee do I use in my machine or cafetiere?
As a rough guide 7 grams per shot for espresso, 1 dessert spoon per cup for most other methods
    • Can I freeze my coffee?
Yes, if it is ground but if you keep the coffee in an airtight container it will stay fresh for at least 1 month
    • How fresh is your coffee and how long can I keep it?
All our coffees are roasted to order and so arrive within a week of roasting. If they are kept in the sealed valve bag they have a shelf life of 9 months. Once open the coffee should be stored in an airtight container and used within 1 month
    • Is your coffee organic and/or Fairtrade?
Some of coffees we offer are organic and Fairtrade. They are clearly identified in their description. Coffee by its nature has to travel great distances to bring it to the UK, however most of our coffees travel by ship rather than air. Coffee is transported from the docks to our factory by a dedicated carrier and we try to ensure, when possible, that they only bring full loads
    • What makes the best cup of coffee?
The secret to the best cup of coffee is freshness! After that it's down to personal taste and also the method used to brew the coffee. However, there are 6 simple rules that need to be followed to ensure a superb cup of coffee: 1) Use freshly roasted beans and once the packet is opened store in an airtight container. 2) Grind the bens immediately before brewing. If you don’t have a grinder make sure you buy your coffee regularly and always store in an airtight container. 3) Use fresh, cold water, bring to the boil but do not over boil. Then allow the water to go just off the boil before pouring onto the coffee. 4) Use your preferred method of brewing, making sure you use the correct extraction time for the particular method. 5) Drink the freshly brewed coffee as soon as possible. Never reheat the coffee. 6) Always remember to warm your cup before pouring in the coffee
